Meet the Doctor and Staff

Dr. Richard LeConey, M.D., Medical Director

Prior to becoming interested in the problems and treatment of aging, Dr. LeConey specialized in Emergency Medicine and is also Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. 

In 1979 he founded and directed Southwest Emergency Associates, a company, which employed over 40 Emergency Physicians and staffed 10 hospital Emergency Departments in Texas.

Dr. LeConey earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Texas in Austin and his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas in 1977. After Medical School, he continued on, at UTMB, as Intern and Resident in the Department of General Surgery.

Dr. LeConey is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the Endocrine Society, the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine

 Dana LeConey: Administrator

Dana was raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky and the University of Houston, receiving a degree in Health Sciences. Her initial career was as a Respiratory Therapist and Cardio-Pulmonary Technician. After developing an interest in flying, she returned to school and received her degree in Aeronautical Technology and joined  Continental Airlines Pilot Training Program. For the next 15 years this busy mother of two pursed a career as a corporate Jet pilot. In 1997, she began to experience some signs of aging and decided to do something about it.

Today Dana is the director of their thriving Anti-Aging medical practice, focusing her energy on helping people regain (or maintain) their youthful vitality and appearance. Dana continues to fly planes on a contract basis and for personal transportation.

 Helane Knecht: Skin Care Specialist

Helane is a native Houstonian, graduated from the University of Texas in Special Education. She taught for several years and owned and ran a mail order catalog business in Houston.  The past nine years she has been an image consultant in the skincare and cosmetic field.  As an avid believer and participant in new and innovative procedures to look and feel young, she joins our group as the Patient Counselor for the Institute of Anti-Aging Medicine and Skin Spa.  She welcomes new patient calls inquiring about our services and assists each one in understanding what our practice can offer in his/her quest for healthy aging and rejuvenation.  Enjoying interactions with patients, she discusses their welfare and success of their treatments.   

Helane's pride and joy are her three children.  She unwinds with Pilates and Yoga, reading, crafts and sailing with her husband and friends.
