Dr. Richard LeConey is the owner/ operator of the Institute of Antiaging Medicine and Skin Spa... Dr LeConey earned his undergradute degree cum laude from the University of Texas in Austin and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston Texas, in 1977. After medical school, he continued on at UTMB as a resident in the Department of General Surgery. He then extended his studies to include Antiaging Medicine through two years on continuing medical education..

Prior to becoming interst in the problems and treatments of aging, Dr LeConey specialized in Emergency Medicine and also Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  In 1997, he founded and directed the Southwest Emergency Associates, company which employed more than 40 Emergency Physicians and staffed 10 hospital emergency rooms in Texas.

Dr LeConey is a member of the following: American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association
Harris County Medical Society, Endocrine Society, American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology, American Academy of Emergency Medicine, American Board of Antiaging Medicine.

Dana LeConey is the Director of the Institute of Antiaging Medicine and Skin Spa. Dana was raised in in Louisville, Kentucky. Her initial career was a
respiratory therapist and cardio-pulmonary technician. After developing an interest in flying, she returned to school in 1987 and received her degree in aeronautical technology. For the next 15 years this busy mother of two children pursed a career as a corporate pilot, becoming proficient in piloting many corporate jets, including Lear Jets, Citation and Jet Stars.  Dana continues to fly planes on a contract basis and for personal transportation.

In 1997, Dana began what she thought would be a temporary position as a manager for her husbands five primary care health centers. Inspired by the changes in the health care industry, Dana and Richard founded the Institute of AntiAging Medicine and Skin Spa. Today, Dana is the director of their thriving healthy aging practice, focusing her energy on helping people regain and or maintain their youthful vitality and appearance. The LeConeys are assisted at their state of the art medical and skin care facility by a specially trained staff providing proven age-reversing treatments. 

 

J-Bird started working at the Institute of Anti-Aging after being a patient for several years.  She comes from a health and fitness background and really connected with the idea of having the face match the body work emphasis in her Personal Training business.  The non-surgical approach to improving appearance is the quick-fix, no down time that really works in her life and motivated her to want to get the word out to all women who want to look better as they go through the aging process.

 

Jamie is a Board Certified Aesthetician.  She has a passion for skin care and a desire to share her knowledge and expertise in this field.  She brings to the Institute of Anti-Aging enthusiasm and a genuine caring concern for her patients.  Jamie has extensive training in Obagi skin care products.  She works with our laser hair removal, lipodissolve, and endermologie procedures.

Kay has an extensive nursing background in geriatric medicine.  She has been at the Institute of Anti-Aging for over 2 years.  She has been trained as an injector and has worked closely with both Dana and Dr. LeConey.  She has become thoroughly experienced with Botox and all dermal fillers.  Kay also works with our weight loss and lipodissolve programs.  Kay is committed to excellence and seeing to it that all her patients achieve the results they desire.

Hormone Nurse Specialist

Nancy is a Registered Nurse  who previously worked in ICU and as a Recovery Room nurse for an outpatient surgical center.  As a hormone patient at the Institute of Anti-Aging for several years, Nancy joined the staff after returning from living overseas.  She works closely with Dr. LeConey and the bio-identical hormone replacement and weight loss programs..  She has outstanding nursing skills and is dedicated to helping her patients restore their zest for life.    

KRISTEN

Registered Nurse

 

Kristen is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years experience in women’s health and pre-natal patient education.  She is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant.  Kristen began working in medical aesthetics 10 years ago.  She has extensive training and experience with lasers and advanced techniques in injectables, both Botox and dermal fillers.  Kristen joined the Institute of Anti-Aging in 2012 but already has quite a following of very satisfied patients.  She is committed to the highest level of professionalism.

Patient Care Coordinator

Rita is a singer and performer and has been a regular visitor to our practice in her diligence to optimize her good looks and stage persona.  She is the newest member of the Institute of Anti-Aging staff.  As Patient Care Coordinator Rita is committed to facilitating our medical staff and to assisting in coordinating patient treatments.

 

Christie has worked with the LeConeys for 12 years.  She keeps the office running smoothly with her knowledge of all the computer programs that are an integral part of the Institutes’s operation.. She sees that the bills get paid as well as the staff .  Christie is the go-to person here.

SHANNON

Assistant Office Manager

 

Shannon graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a degree in Healthcare Administration.  She has worked at the Institute for four years as our Assistant Office Manager. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice as well as enthusiasm, initiative and fresh ideas.   

CHRISSY

Front Desk/Patient Coordinator

 

Chrissy graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Consumer Science.  She has experience working with other busy medical practices.  She loves helping people and the customer service industry.  She keeps things running smoothly out front and makes all of our patients feel welcomed while streamlining their check-in and check-out services.

JENNIFER

Certified Medical Assistant

 

Jennifer is a Licensed Cosmetologist as well as a Certified Medical Assistant.  She has worked in the skincare industry for over 5 years as an administrator for a dermatology practice.  She is fluent in Vietnamese and Chinese.  She is very professional and thorough with all of her patients.
