Lipodissolve and MesoTherapy
Fat and Cellulite Removal

Lipodissolve - A non-surgical alternative to Liposuction

What is Lipodissolve?
Lipodissolve is a non-surgical procedure of injecting a combination of homeopathic agents and FDA approved medications directly into the fat to cause the fat cells to burst (“dissolve”).  It is an alternative to liposuction for treating problem areas of fat that won’t go away with diet and exercise.

What medications are used?
The main ingredient is Phosphatidylcholine (“PPC”), which is actually what causes the fat cell to burst.  Vitamin B complex (various “B” vitamins) is added to help support the liver’s breakdown process of the fat.  These two ingredients are homeopathic ingredients. The only prescription medication used in Lipodissolve is something called Trental, which is FDA approved for poor circulation and is used “off-label” in Lipodissolve to help the fat cells burst quicker.  These ingredients are all mixed with saline.

How does Lipodissolve work?
The medications used in the Lipodissolve causes lysis (“bursting”) of the fat cell wall. This allows the fat that is being stored in the cell to get released, and is taken by the lymphatic system to the liver where it is metabolized and excreted out in the urine.

How is Lipodissolve different from Mesotherapy?
Lipodissolve differs from Mesotherapy in how deep the injections are placed, how much of the solution is injected, and the intervals between treatments. In Mesotherapy, the medications are put into the skin in small amounts and in Lipodissolve, the medications are put deeper into the fat pockets and more medication is used. The main difference between the two procedures is that with Lipodissolve, results are more certain with each treatment and fewer treatments are needed than with Mesotherapy.

Mesotherapy

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is the practice of using microinjections of conventional or homeopathic medication and/or vitamins into the mesoderm or middle layer of skin to deliver healing or corrective treatment to a specific area of the body. Mesotherapy has been touted as the latest breakthrough for bodysculpting, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation. Why? Because it works!
Mesotherapy has been used in France for over 50 years.  By injecting small amounts of these medications and vitamins into middle layer of the skin called the mesoderm it breaks down the cellulite and improves circulation.

On what areas of the body can Mesotherapy be used?

Mesotherapy may be used for cellulite, body fat reduction, body sculpturing and weight loss, facial rejuvenation (mesolift), and eye fat pads.

Can mesotherapy be used to remove eye fat pads?

Mesotherapy has proven successful for reduction of the fat or puffy areas found under the eyes (the “tired” look). It can usually delay, or avoid, the need for future surgical removal of fat pads (lower eyelid blepharoplasty) and the possible complications associated with the surgery.
