Candidates for Morpheus8 are men and women who experience lines, sun spots, stretch marks, and acne scars on their face or body and wish to eliminate these blemishes and reveal a smoother and clearer complexion. Morpheus8 can be used on all skin types and tones.
Morpheus8 is a safe and effective, minimally invasive treatment that uses a matrix of micro pins to renew the deeper layers of the skin. RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled manner to stimulate the production of collagen. Before treatment, numbing cream is applied for comfort; the skin is then cleaned with an antibacterial formula and the Morpheus8 treatment begins.
Morpheus8 targets tissue sequentially at three levels in millisecond intervals. This allows for a significant reduction in treatment times. It also minimizes skin injury, increases treatment uniformity, and enables customized full-body fractional procedures. This facial and body fractional remodeling device offers dual handpieces for increased treatment functionality. Depending on the areas being treated, each session typically lasts about 20 to 30 minutes.
This treatment requires minimal downtime. Patients may see redness in the treated area for up to one week, but makeup application can be resumed one or two days after the procedure. It is recommended that patients avoid direct sunlight and moisturize the treatment area very well. A broad-spectrum sunscreen should be worn any time you are out in the sun as it helps to prevent the risk of skin cancer, reduces wrinkles, and slows the aging process on the skin.
Morpheus8 patients will be able to enjoy their results within a few days, with full results becoming noticeable after about three weeks. Because of the production of new collagen, patients can experience improvements for up to three months after treatment. Depending on your results and goals, patients may require one to three treatment sessions to achieve the aesthetic they desire.
