Ideal candidates for chemical peels are individuals with realistic expectations. Candidates often
have chronic dry skin, fine lines, uneven pigmentation, or acne scars. It is recommended that you come in for a consultation to determine what level of chemical peel is needed to address your skincare goals.

How It Works

Chemical peels offer a highly effective method to treat a variety of skin problems, such as fine
lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture, discoloration, and sun-damaged skin. Once the proper
treatment is agreed upon, the chemical solution will be applied to the face so that it can
eventually remove the dead skin cells, dirt, and oil that reside on the skin’s surface.

Recovery and Results

Chemical peels require minimal downtime. Some patients may experience mild redness, flaking/peeling,
or irritation for a few days after their peel. These effects should dissipate over the next couple of
days, and patients will see their luminous, revitalized skin shining through.

It is important that you stay covered from the sun and follow a proper skincare routine, which
includes a daily SPF. These simple steps will help maintain and prolong your chemical peel results.

Most skin types can benefit from chemical peels but all clients will be evaluated at your initial appointment.

Facial skin will be cleansed and prepared prior to treatment. A solution of acids chosen for your specific skin type and concern
will be applied strategically to the area of skin being treated. The solution may be wiped away or left on the skin depending on
type chosen and sunscreen may be applied.

Most chemical peels are done in a series of 3-4 treatments spaced one month apart.

Not all chemical peels are created equal. Some peels can have a lot of sensation to them and some have very little if any. Some
peels can be combined with other therapies as well which can affect the sensation the client experiences.

Depending on your social life, you may want to plan for “downtime” accordingly. While some peels may cause very little
flaking, some can cause more true peeling a few days after the peel is applied. A consultation is always recommended to
evaluate timing and ensure a smooth treatment.

A consultation for a chemical peel is always necessary to evaluate candidacy and make sure the skin is prepped accordingly.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a procedure that resurfaces the skin by removing the thin, outermost layer of skin from the body, which is made up of dead epidermal skin cells, dirt, and oil. By removing it, you will be left with a brighter, smoother complexion. Undergoing this treatment rejuvenates your skin for easier makeup application and a softer, smoother-looking appearance.

Ideal Candidates

Individuals who have fine facial hair, sensitive skin, redness, or facial veins are ideal candidates for dermaplaning. Additionally, dermaplaning is safe for all skin types and tones. Most people are candidates for dermaplaning; however, it is recommended that you come in for a consultation to discuss your goals and expectations.

How It Works

Dermaplaning is a quick and easy in-office procedure that is performed in about 20 minutes. A specialized surgical blade is used to gently scrape away the very top layer of skin. This non-surgical treatment is wonderful for exfoliating the skin and reducing skin pigmentation, pore size, and wrinkles. Dermaplaning also helps to remove fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Removing the dead skin cells and fine vellus hair prepares the skin for other aesthetic procedures, such as HydraFacial®s, DiamondGlow™ treatments, or chemical peels.

Recovery and Results

There is almost no downtime or discomfort with dermaplaning. The procedure is usually repeated once the vellus hair returns, which is about every four weeks. This treatment will not cause hair to grow back any darker or coarser.

Dermaplaning allows for better penetration of your own personal skincare regimen and creates a flawless canvas for makeup application. Your skin will look and feel smoother after a dermaplaning treatment. It is important that you follow a proper skincare routine, complete with SPF, to maintain your results. dead skin and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the entire face. This is usually regarded as a very relaxing treatment with absolutely
no pain whatsoever.

Dermaplaning can be a regular add-on to your monthly facial.

No! Contrary to the description or appearance of the treatment, it is actually very relaxing and enjoyable to most clients.
Results are immediate and satisfying!

No. The face may be slightly pink afterwards depending on level of sensitivity so makeup should not be applied that day.

All patients can benefit and everyone except for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are candidates. (Few other
contraindications)

Area to be treated will be manually cleansed prior to the Hydrafacial treatment which includes a deep exfoliation of the skin,
utilizing physical and chemical methods. Procedure will include extractions as well as an antioxidant rich hydrating serum and
LED light application at the facial. Patients can expect to feel fresh and clean with textural improvement as well as a nice glow.

Most clients receive a regular HydraFacial® every 4-6 weeks as a maintenance treatment.

A HydraFacial® feels like a textured vacuum moving over the skin. It is not your typical spa facial but clients say it feels effective
and comfortable. Your technician will adjust settings according to skin sensitivity if discomfort is felt at any time.

Absolutely not! A HydraFacial® is a deep cleansing treatment with no down time. Many patients will leave the office slightly
pink due to increased circulation but that normally goes down in a 30 min to a few hours. Makeup application is not suggested
on the same day of treatment for best results.

Ideal candidates for SkinPen® Microneedling with PRP are in good general health and are looking for a minimally invasive treatment to address the following aesthetic concerns:

SkinPen® Microneedling

SkinPen® uses thin needles to create micro-channels in the skin, stimulating the body’s healing response. The body begins to produce more collagen over time, providing smoother, firmer, more youthful skin. A topical numbing cream may be applied before your treatment for your comfort.

-Rich Plasma

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of platelets in the blood that are crucial to wound healing. When used for skin rejuvenation, PRP releases growth factors into the skin to expedite the body’s own repair process and stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. With a simple, quick, and advantageous process, your PRP professional is able to derive a high concentration of biological nutrient-rich cells and create autologous platelet-rich plasma. Since the autologous platelet-rich plasma is processed from the patient’s own blood, there is virtually no risk of an allergic reaction or rejection.

When adding PRP to your microneedling treatment, your blood will be drawn and used to derive the platelet-rich plasma for application with the SkinPen®.

Recovery and Results

Most patients experience some minor redness and swelling for one to three days after treatment. Some may experience You will be provided with aftercare instructions that should be followed carefully to avoid complications and achieve the best results possible.

You may see some improvement after your skin heals. However, microneedling with PRP relies on the body’s healing ability, so your skin will continue to improve over the next three to four weeks. A series of treatments may be recommended, depending on the cognition being treated.

Micro-Needling feels similar to sandpaper being moved across the skin. Topical numbing is applied prior to your procedure, but no anesthesia or medications are necessary.

The skin will be red and flushed, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn, for 12 hours to 3 days. You may also experience mild swelling, tightness, and/or mild peeling. Side effects are temporary and typically resolve within 3 days. Total healing time depends on the depth of the treatment, skin type, and skin condition, and some patients may heal completely in 24 hours.

Patients typically notice an immediate glow, but visible improvement will take about 2-4 weeks and can continue for up to 6 months.

A series of 4-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is ideal for optimal results. Some conditions like deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks, and acne scars may require 6-8 treatments.
